My sister and I had a great time this morning. I'm not sure why they have a low review, but my French toast was delicious! My sister had the chilequiles (however you spell it), that was delicious too. They pointed fans at us to keep the air cool. There are tables inside and it's beautiful inside! They filled up inside quickly, but outside still had nice shade. The only thing that was bad was the parking situation, but I forgot about it once I got it. They have jointed parking besides 2 other small businesses. I got there with my sister at 10:30 & it started getting packed outside around 11ish. They have these cute golden dishes for the aesthetic people. But overall, we had a good time. Oh, and the chips and salsa were delicious.
I love this place! The servers and bartenders are always so sweet. Marc the bartender did an amazing job on all my drinks the most recent time. The ambiance is great and I always choose to sit on the patio even during the summer. Not to mention the happy hour is great they have great drinks and food to snack on. This place has it all from great food to drinks and I have been multiple times and will continue to come here any chance I get. I have tried multiple things on the menu and it is always consistent, keep up the good work! If you are in the area I highly recommend this place for any dinners or events.
The atmosphere was fantastic. We had an awesome time. Drinks on points, we'll defend be back for the margaritas. Food wise...portions for the only at Palomar were small and not tasted full. To the point that my plan was to share with my friends... but if it was not for me, I would not make my friends tried. After all, we had a good time. Also...salsa can use more tomatoes .
Tried the brunch today. Weather on the patio was excellent, the people were chill. Our sangria and Paloma drinks eased us into a welcome, relaxing vibe as we waited for our food. The egg enchiladas were big fluffy with flour tortillas, stuffed with melted corona cheese and eggs, was only able to finish one, taking the other home for breakfast tomorrow. Less adventurous me stuck to the tried and true cheese enchiladas with red corn tortillas. Excellent as usual. Definitely enjoyed our patio time in the shade.
Lights out, amazing food. Authentic Mexican options and opted for Tex Mex as it was considered a local favorite. Great service and amazing food. The attention to detail was great. Spanish rice was seasoned perfectly, refried beans had a smoky flavor and the meat was cooked perfectly.
The atmosphere of this place is fantastic. There's a LOT of "kinks" they need to work out - in particular around the bar area. We were seated there last night due to a full house (note this was at 6:30 on a Monday). We had a great time being served by the bartender Alvaro, and he was great to chat with the few moments he had to spare. However, he was being slammed - and one of the waiters seemed to think he had the right to demand immediate attention nonstop (it was super rude and ridiculous to watch. The guy wouldn't even go get his own Mexican coke and just stood there with a cup of melting ice). The staff all seemed to collect around the one service station at the end of the bar, and all seemed to be a little lost or think they're the only one with customers. A couple beside us ended up leaving because they were never served. Chips weren't being refilled and it looked like they only had one young woman working to clear tables. This all may be due to the new Facebook post that has drawn a lot of attention to the food here - and the food here is fantastic. We spent and ate way more than we should have, but it was all delicious. We were super happy with the meals and will definitely be returning; hopefully the staff will have better organization and better help when the bar is so backed up!
